Good but not great

You do what I hoped but not perfectly. I usually wear earplugs in noisy environments, so I'm used to a high level of isolation (around 34dB). The large earbuds for this set are pretty close, but they caused an earache after about an hour. The next size down was comfortable for longer but didn't offer the same insulation. With a good white noise generator app on my phone (I use TMSoft's White Noise or Relaxio's White Noise Generator) the audio drowns out background noise, but I was hoping earbuds would be better.
