I'm absolutely IN LOVE with this notebook! *sigh* I might just leave my husband so I can marry this notebook! Okay, just kidding. As nice as this notebook is, I'd never leave a man who cooks for me. 😉 Here's what I love about it:* SUPERB craftsmanship -- This notebook will NOT fall apart after a short time. In fact, I suspect it would survive the apocalypse, it's so well-made. (I'm not prone to hyperbole in the slightest!)* SUPPLE "faux leather" cover -- Why the quotes? Because this allegedly fake leather cover is so soft and leather-like that I'm not sure I believe the maker. It's warmth and softness is a delight to touch, and it has that slight 'give' thick, quality leather has when you hold it. Of course, I'm not going to tear this baby apart to prove them wrong. 😜* THICK paper -- The paper is thick and has slight sheen to it. I don't use Sharpies in my notebooks, but I'd have to say they're probably the only pens that would bleed through. The color is not quite white, but definitely not cream -- I'd call it ivory or off-white.* DASHED lines -- This version has light grey dashed lines instead of solid ones. I like this touch.* LAYS FLAT when open -- The paper is thick enough that you might want to run your hand down the page for perfect flatness, but not much pressure is needed.* PEN LOOP -- I love that it's tucked along the spine of the book! What an ingenious spot to put it.* STURDY envelope on the inside back cover should last for the life of the book, and tucked inside I found a sheet of different colored adhesive tabs to attach in the book where needed.* PROTECTIVE sleeve -- The book comes in a nice protective slipcase, which would be great to hold on to for archiving purposes.* ELASTIC BAND -- Woo hoo! Why would anyone want a notebook like this *without* an elastic band?* BOOKMARK -- Hey! It's got a bookmark! Actually, it looks as if it's tightly affixed, so hopefully it will never fall out.One note: Nowhere on the slipcase or the journal itself is there a Lemome logo. Mine didn't come with the paper wrap-around paper tag as shown in the photo. #iNoCurr!Next up on my wish list is a tan colored dotted journal, when they come back in stock. In the meantime, I'm going to happily use and abuse this baby.just like I do my hubby! 😎
