The sweater is very warm and the large pocket is not bulky at all! The bag, in which you can put a cat or a cuddly toy, has a removable inner lining that can be easily removed and washed separately if necessary. If you have a cat in your bag but don't want to put your hands in the same bag, there are external pockets, which is very convenient. I love mine and think they are very cute! I imagine cats that like to snuggle up to each other, or other animals that like a sacked environment like a ferret, sugar glider or even a hamster might also enjoy the ride. Just be careful when you take it outside in case the animal wants to jump out. There's no strap to attach a belt, but the pocket is quite deep, so keep that in mind when heading out into the countryside.
