When I first saw this little desk fan, I doubted cold air would reach me from a few inches away, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn I could still feel the breeze from an impressive 6 feet away could feel. The fan feels well built and lightweight, with aluminum blades. It measures 4 inches and is USB powered. However, I used a USB adapter so I can power it from the mains when the computer is off. This works just as well and is very handy when you're on the go and don't have access to a USB port. The fan has an on/off switch on the back so you can leave it plugged in and still turn it off. A high/low setting would be handy, but could the company consider that for future products? Perhaps being able to rotate would also help, but I'm glad I can move it up and down on the stand. It's not quiet when it's on, but it's not loud either. It's a very low, steady noise, so it's not distracting at all. I actually use it at night and sleep through the noise. Instructions are on the side of the box, but they're so easy to use you don't really need them. The available colors for the aluminum portable table fan are sky blue and light green. and black (that's what they sent me). Overall, I would recommend this product to someone who needs a small fan with a lot of power. The product is well designed and for only $12.99 you can't go wrong.
