Very easy to clean with warm water and wipe dry. The hardest part of teaching people how to install them is deleting where to put them. Thanks to the beautiful paintwork, I'm not worried about someone installing it themselves. I'm at events all over the place, so I usually set them up before events, but then I swap them out and place them on other vehicles. This allows you to send people on trips they would otherwise not have access to. I always carry a rag with me to install these mounts. A contestant recently told me that this is his lucky camera as he wins every time he carries it around.
