Review on πŸ“Έ Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 - ICY Mint Color - Instant Film Camera (ICY Mint) by Jeff Sorensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Instax for adults.

Purchased with instax printer. I just couldn't decide as I saw uses for both. To be honest they weigh about the same. The printer may weigh slightly more because there are more moving parts involved. I weighed them in at about 10 ounces. Or about the weight of half a bottle of water. Heavier than a normal banana. :) The size: still a bit bulky, but fits in a fanny pack or handbag. The design is elegant, so I don't feel stupid to throw it away when needed. VS mini 8: I've spent a lot of time thinking about which camera to take. In the end, it came down to style and efficiency. I expect a lot of bad shots with the Mini 8. And for about 80 cents a shot you'll eventually match the price of a Mini 70. The Mini 70 also has auto exposure controls and a selfie mirror mode, so you're less likely to ruin your shot. The Mini 8 design is perfect for teenagers or college students. If you are a man or feel too old to create something that looks like a toy, I would go even 70 or 90. VS Printer: It depends on the usage. The camera is good to capture the moment on the spot. The printer is suitable for scrapbooking or as a gift. While the instax sharing app gives you the option to print directly, it's still not as convenient as printing from instant cameras. If you want to be eco-friendly, you need to spend an extra $15-20 for rechargeable batteries. With the Mini 70 you can take about 30 shots with CR2 batteries. 5 Stars. Because with the purchase of a Mini 70 you have made it. Do your research and know what you want and what you are getting from the device. It's more of an investment than buying a Mini 8 at half price. Buy it for yourself or a friend/family who you know will appreciate the elegant design and is a toy.
