This case combines protection and aesthetics well - not bulky at all and not heavy. I use it with a matte screen protector and have had no issues with the fit. The magnetic stand works on my desk or in my lap without breaking and I've even used magnets to hang the iPad on the washing machine for novelty and it didn't budge. I don't have an Apple Pen yet, so I can't comment on Apple Pen charging, but overall I'm happy with the case. My only problem is the power button. While the volume controls click responsively, the power button doesn't press. I can press as hard as I want, but the iPad's power button doesn't seem to reach, even though the case is perfectly aligned. It's annoying and I don't like having to disassemble the case to get to the button underneath. I'm not sure if this is user error or case error, but that's ultimately why I removed one star from the five star rating.
