It was a nice idea, but it would be MUCH better if they made it brighter and with a larger field of view. Unlike the lasers other people had, this laser didn't cover the entire side of our one story house in bright patterns, just the garage door and was pretty dim. The various drawings he drew are easy to see, but they are washed out by the ambient light. We'll keep him, but don't expect much from him in the future. This way we get more decorations and our neighbors can cover entire sides of the TWO story house with their own.
