This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! The chiffon material is comfortable, doesn't itch, and is light enough to stay comfortable even in warm weather. I put it over the collar of a long sleeve work shirt with houndstooth buttons and everyone thought it was sewn on top because they looked so chic together. It looked like a delicate, feminine version of a men's bow tie. Also, it's the perfect length for someone with a large chest because it's not too short to tie in a pretty bow, but it's also not so long that the ties dangle across the chest, the bow dominating and you basically make it look neckless. To be honest it was even better than I had hoped. The only disappointment is that it doesn't come in more colors! Pink or bright yellow (combined with a gray blazer) would be great...
