I used to organize my gaming systems. You have to work on the wires though (it's a job). Appears to be very strong when used with screw anchors rated at 75 pounds each (commonly used for hanging flat screen TVs). I got them from my local hardware store as I wasn't planning on mounting them to a wall stud and wanted those floating shelves to stagger. Worked well and holds almost a full 17 pounds with a few items on it. Use a spirit level to align the glass shelves, as a crooked shelf really shows if you're standing in a 20-foot space. Be sure to do this before over-tightening the shelf screws. It probably took 1/2 hour of planning and another 1/2 hour of actual installation. Easy using the included template which will help to make holes for the support rod accurately. Very easy and very painless day project.
