For a small, economical speaker, I like it. The tone is too bright for me, but it sounds clean. On some songs, the bass has a dull thump for this speaker. The sound is not real 360Β°. High frequencies splash on one side but sound good on 3 sides. The sound remains clear up to a volume of 95%. In addition, there may be slight distortion depending on the music. The video demo was created at 100% volume. Put on good headphones to hear the demo better. The button functions are nice and intuitive if you've had Bluetooth headphones before. My only criticism is that the buttons are too easy to press. The battery life looks fantastic. After several hours over two days at around 60% volume, it still has a lot of life left. You can monitor the speaker battery level on your phone. According to the instructions, Bluetooth must not be used during the charging process. I tested it and it seems like it doesn't charge very quickly when using the speaker. The speaker appears to have a low-power standby mode, but doesn't turn itself off after, say, 15 minutes. It stayed on all night without being used and the battery level didn't change. An annoying audio anomaly is that some audiobooks in the Audible app randomly truncate the first syllables of sentences. This is enough for you not to understand what is being said. I bought it to listen to podcasts and music on my iPhone when I'm not wearing headphones. The size of a soda can, this speaker is easy to carry and lightweight. I don't like the loud musical chimes when it's on. My other speakers either have a beep that follows the volume when turned on, or there is an option in the app to turn it off. I also don't like the repeated battery warning. My other devices will only warn you once and then leave you alone. There is blue light. It is located under the connector cover. It flashes when in use and glows in standby mode. The indicator turns red when charging, then turns off when ready. I did a microphone test for phone use. I would refrain from doing this as it sounds very muffled and would be difficult to hear. I have tested many microphones and this one is not very good. How waterproof is it? I haven't tested it, but I'm certified to test and certify sealed and submersible electronics and I think it looks good. To clear up the confusion I see that the IPX 5 rating means you can spray low pressure water on it and it won't damage it. Do not inflate it with water from a hose or throw it under water. If you leave it out in the rain, you'll be fine. I will update later when I have more information.
