Just considering a TN227BK, black toner. I did not receive the full set of 5 toners. What I can confirm is that it worked for 1x TN227BK in my Brother HL-L3290CDW. Loading the toner into the drum requires a bit of fiddling as the "handle" design of this JENTREE toner is not the same as the OEM Brother machine. The OEM unit has the UP handle opening while this JENTREE aftermarket unit has the DOWN handle opening. Once I figured it out, everything went fine and the printer recognized the cartridge right away, just like the OEM cartridge. And the pressure is fine too. A set of 5 cartridges (each color plus one extra) for $69.99 is a great price compared to an OEM cartridge, but may not be the best of all "aftermarket" cartridges. Thank you for reading this review.
