Although they have fallen apart over time, I feel that I have been able to use them very well and have ordered a new pair. I use them when playing drums and I can thump enough bass to "feel" them. If you play in a volume limited environment these headphones pay off because the band sounds great to ME! When listening to recorded music, I hear nuances that I've never heard from previous headphones or speakers. I move around a lot when I play and detachables tend to come loose. I solved this problem by using some hot glue around the outside of the joint and it works like a champ. I strongly recommend this product.
