You can fool him by using the record function and recording silence. When you press the button, only light appears, but it is not completely silent. It hums and clicks a lot. My daughter saw this in the Christmas catalog and had to get it. At least she is old enough to understand how to work with the settings. Not recommended as a gift for a newborn.
