I've been trying to find a ponytail clip that doesn't fall out after a few minutes but isn't so tight that it feels like my hair is being pulled out. It is very good. I have medium to thick straight hair. I wrap these elastics twice and my ponytail stays in place. It's a bit tight and feels like my hair is pulling at first, but with a bit of fiddling it doesn't pull as much but still stays in place. The colors are muted, which I like. They are velvet so have a sheen but the fabric is not too shiny. It looks a bit dated since it's a scrunchie, but it works.
