No "keep alive " function
I bought this 4 port to replace IOGEAR's 2 port KVM. Something was still active on the USB. With this new KVM, it takes some time for each computer to wake up when accessing the switch. When it wakes up, I get accompanying sound effects for two attached USB devices (on the target computer) and two more sound effects for detachable USB ports on the device I'm switching from. It's annoying (e.g. why do people design/build products that can be annoying?). I'll see how long it takes for this to "get old".
