This thing definitely can't handle 15-20 pounds! I had 13 pound self adhesive wall hooks that were very reliable and worked great for months. I bought them because they look so much better (that's the only good thing) and I added one on a (flat/satin) wall and another on the same wall, but as a replacement for my old wall hook. None lasted more than 3 days. I waited over 20 hours after hanging them on the wall before hanging my backpack and shower stall. The paint is also damaged. Not recommended. The only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 star is the great design and the fact that it can still carry other things that are lighter and look good.
