This was perfect for quilting on a large quilting machine. I'm a beginner and still learning a lot, but after looking through this thread I wasn't disappointed. It worked great on the duvet and didn't sag or break on the duvet at all. I have used this thread for the top thread and cotton thread for the bobbin with no problems. I'll give you one recommendation: mark the end of the thread with a permanent marker or something similar so you can see it when threading a large quilting machine. The ending is lost and it saves you time to make the ending a little more visible.
