I bought these to run my modem coax through a doorway so I wouldn't have to worry about tripping. They worked great. Then I found myself using them in other places, like on the back edge of a bookshelf to keep the little paper lamp from falling on it, or on the bedside table to keep the phone charger cords from falling off. I've used them so many times that I had to buy a second pack. My biggest tip for you? Buy tiny command strips with a pull tab that can be removed to use. Only use the supplied adhesive if you are sure you will never have to move or otherwise remove it again. The small command strips are too big, but you can trim them (I didn't trim them, I didn't care), just don't cut the tab used to remove. With command strips my little clips held up well and when I moved they detached from the wall without damage and I was able to hang them back up in their new location. These clips are very small. You can accommodate a maximum of one coaxial cable, two phone charging cables or one light cable. If you need a clip that can hold multiple cords that are longer than phone charger cords, these clips will not do. Coax stretches the clamps, which means any clamps used with coax are unlikely to be effective in holding smaller cables or cords if you're reusing them for something other than coax.
