Let me start by saying that my original order was for 1.75 power and somehow during the ordering process the power changed to 0.00. When I got my glasses I put them on and as you probably guessed I couldn't see anything. I immediately checked my order and knew I needed 1.75 as directed by my optometrist after a recent checkup. I was surprised I didn't check and verify that the wattage is correct. I was devastated and of course I knew I had lost money and wouldn't be returning for glasses I couldn't wear. I decided, emailing TruVision support and explaining my dilemma before throwing the glasses in the trash. I mean damn those glasses looked so good on me. When I got close enough to the bathroom mirror, I thought: You make me look good. At least I finally figured out the frame design that suits my face. Sorry, I digress. I got a quick response from Erin, which surprised me. She wasn't obligated to accept the exchange, but she did. The order was clearly placed for 0.00 power and not for 1.75. I chose the 1.75 option but didn't make sure it stayed selected at checkout. This is not TruVision's fault. In no time at all we traded in black computer reading glasses for 0.00 for one for 1.75 and used them every day. Yes, I have one in my office and a pair in another room. I work on the computer all day and most of the night and my eyes are cloudy and tired, not to mention burning. Like everyone else, or almost everyone else, I also take my iPad and iPhone when I'm not working on the computer. These glasses are great! I've found that since wearing it regularly, the burning, tired eyes I've experienced in the past have almost subsided. I have ordered glasses from other suppliers which I returned almost immediately due to poor quality despite the reviews. were high. My eyes have to move around the table and the two monitors without changing my head position to match the readers I'm wearing. I think, if i was just reading a book these glasses would be fine. These TruVision readers are the best of both worlds: reading books and working on computers with dual monitors and a full desktop! Reader.
