The simplest gadget you could ever dream of, I only really put it to good use recently when I ventured onto the grounds of my former home that was destroyed by California wildfires last year. There was an inordinate amount of traffic, both evacuation/excavation vehicles and unfortunately tourists and looters. I figured if I put this light on the roof of my truck and put some sort of oval logo on the door, it would be a little easier for me to get home. And indeed, it looks like the road workers are waving at me. , the "tourists" stop, and while it's just amber, it suggests a certain seriousness that's actually there. I use a blinking pulse, the only other pattern is a simulation of a spinning beacon. This thing runs on 4 AA cells, so it probably has a pretty good lifespan. The magnets are soft but strong enough to stick to the roof even at high speeds. I'm so sorry I had to put it through such a real test, I'd rather use it as the perfect fridge magnet, but sometimes there's not much choice in these things.
