I really like the PICO 4 helmet, there are a lot of games (even without a PC). There are no wires, it works quickly - put it on, launched it, played for 10-15 minutes, returned to work. )) Gave me a lot of new sensations. (Especially really jumping and moving at the same time in VR is very scary);
Pros
- Can be played through SteamVR (it's bold +); Cool thing, you need to have VR to keep you active while working remotely. No wires. And yes, it's just great stuff. You can stream games to a browser or SmartTV (did not test it), but broadcasting through a browser is not convenient, you need a couple more hands.
Cons
- It is not very suitable for a narrow face, the mask rests only on the forehead and after a while it is very painful and it is difficult to continue playing. There are also gaps, with active enthusiasm you do not pay attention, but they are there. (Minus an asterisk from me); Chinese firmware, not "User friendly", everything is stitched, but hands and risks are needed. You can play through SteamVR, but so far you canโt connect, it turned out to output sound to the helmet, but the problem is in my computer - I need to check the computer for VR games in advance. To turn on the broadcast in the browser, one needs to - Put on, take off the helmet and be in the VR zone to enter the address - this is not convenient. And copying and sending the address in the helmet is not provided. You canโt play in the dark, the controllers are no longer tracked (this is not a minus). Interrupting the game by removing the helmet, then itโs difficult to return normally, you need to put it on in the same place where you took it off, or the center of the game will shift, which can lead to the inability to continue the game, because. you are outside its borders, and it is not possible to return to the center on foot, because you will go abroad (that is, you need to go through the room where it was not planned to play and there may be a wall on the way).
