1 2 3 4 5At first glance I was very surprised to see how he liked my extremely picky cat. He loves the taste without a doubt. It's only been a few days so I need more observation time to see if there really is a reduction in the allergens associated with hair and dandruff. My only suggestion to Purina: it would be great if this product could be updated with healthier, quality ingredients without corn gluten and poultry by-product meal. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the lower quality ingredients compared to current cat food. Otherwise my cat goes crazy for it, like cat food on catnip! A transitional period was not required. He just swallowed it like there was no tomorrow! As far as taste goes, Purina nailed it! Update: May 22nd: It has been over a week since I switched cat food to Purina Pro Plan Live Clear. My cat still loves this food and I'm considering giving it to him all the time just based on observations of my cat really craving it. I still haven't noticed a significant reduction in allergies in my home. I still sneeze constantly, but that may be due to the high levels of pollen and allergens in the area. I believe it will take a little longer for the full effect of the food to really change in my case. I'm very sensitive to allergens, so anything can piss me off, but I don't seem to sneeze or have what I call an "allergy attack" when a cat rubs its body against my face, so that's a positive thing. Update: May 26th, based on my observations and analysis over the last few weeks. I can safely say that Purina Live Clear really works. My cat started spending more time with me and was unusually demanding and kind, sleeping on my head and rubbing his body against my face. How sensitive am I to allergens? I didn't sneeze and my eyes/skin didn't itch. Judging by the product's claims of reducing allergens and palatability; I would give 5 stars. However, for an overall rating of the product, I would give it 4.5 stars due to some questionable ingredients like corn and poultry by-products. Update June 1st: After several weeks of observation, I noticed that I don't have any allergies. My cat is happy. Update June 12th:. His food recently ran out and my cat refuses to eat his old cat food so I had to re-order a new batch for him. 5 Stars!
