UPDate I have already ordered GINGER ONE. It's kind of a muted gold tone, not quite yellow, more of a soft yellow gold, although green maybe. In high school I had a skirt and sweater that was a similar shade and it was called Old Gold. ? I really don't love him as much as I thought I did. BUT the black is cool and the rust/orange color is nice. My husband just helped me today hang four large coat hooks along the clothes rail in the back room/mud room to hold all those growing hats I've suddenly started collecting. i think i've had enough apart from that spooky ORANGE and not chasing neon like orange but a wonderfully bright beautiful ORANGE orange. I know you laugh too much at how stupid someone is. Even girls like me who are down to earth can have a girly attitude towards colors and fashion. Little bit. Hubby is never at that level. The Mara effect seems to be called. It also snowed today, so I have to wear hats. But which one? The pom poms are big, fun and sit firmly on the buttons. I'm glad I bought it. Beautiful real black color of bobble and yarn. The orange isn't as orange, more of a muted rust tone, and the pom pom is a shade darker. I would have liked a true ORANGE or pumpkin orange or at least a little lighter but it was close to what I had in mind so no problem. Why would a 70 year old lady want an ORANGE HAT? I DO NOT EXCEPT that it is easier for my 80 year old husband to find me shopping in major department stores. He goes into the auto industry, and the next thing you know, we can't find each other, or worse, I'm running after him or running over him as he just walked past me, looked at me in the aisle but didn't recognize me.
