I wish I had paid more attention to the reviewers who complained that this towel was not very absorbent. You're right. It is not. I'm used to 100% cotton towels. These are some mixes. The colors are perfect (for my bathroom) as is the size - I like that they are long but narrow. Ideal for the towel rail next to the sink. I also like how they wash. Colors will not fade or shrink. But when you wipe your wet hands on these towels, they just don't dry them off right away. It's like drying your hands with nylon stockings or a polyester washcloth. Water is like balloons and it's just not good. Your hands are still wet. You rub a second and a third time, and then your hands kind of dry out, but then again... not quite. Only you can decide if you care more about how towels look (great) or how they dry (not that hot). I use them now but I'm looking for the same set only for 100% cotton.
