I use DJI's Mavic Air 2 and sometimes I need to take off/land on grass, gravel, rocks, truck bed, etc. Too rough sometimes on terrain, the grass is too high etc. so I had seen this item before but was reluctant to buy it thinking it would fold or twist on rough terrain. This actually works very well. The pad is foldable, flexible yet strong enough to resist too much flexing and provides a good surface for takeoff and landing. I wanted to buy a bigger pillow thinking more space would be good, 20 inches seemed small but I was surprised figuring out that the Mavic Air 2 had enough space on the cushion to land (and push off). The material is easy to wash off and has a durable feel, making it resistant to damage from rocks and rough terrain. So far I have taken off from this and landed five separate flights (grass, mud and truck). What I noticed is that the mud didn't cloud or fog up the drone like landing/takeoff from mud sometimes does when using this landing pad. I also bought a SYMIK A310-MA2 case and when I fold this pad it fits nicely on the controller and batteries or on the drone and controller so I can keep everything together. Perfect! Do not rock or fog the drone as is sometimes the case, when you land/take off in the mud when using this landing pad.
