Brand new monitor so no long term reviews. But out of the box I couldn't get 4K resolution, there wasn't even a choice in Windows Settings or in my Nvidia Control Panel. Problem? I used an old HDMI cable (with a mini DP adapter on the graphics card) and the system knew about it, so I couldn't even select a higher resolution. Solution: I installed a pure display port cable. The system recognized it and now allows me to select the highest resolution - 3840x2160. Hooray. The cable is important. Just one more problem: I have 2 monitors, another regular HD monitor. I keep moving windows from one monitor to another and it messes up window sizes and scaling. I guess I'll just have to buy another 4K monitor!
