I bought it because my son was 3 months old when I noticed that he had a flat head. I didn't want him to have to wear a helmet and even though his doctor said it would go away I wanted to be active. It comes with two covers and it's great if I wash one I can use the other. It also has a small indentation at the bottom of the pillow that accommodates baby's head and helps shape it. The pillow helped prevent my son's flat head from worsening and now his head is back to normal. Not sure if it's a pastime, tummy time, pillow or a combo but I have no regrets buying it at all. Anything that helps is great in my book. If you're worried about a flat head, you should definitely get this! I took off a star because I wish it had a strap so we could wrap it around my child's mattress. My son now always wakes up with his head on the pillow, but that can also be because he sometimes has restless sleep.
