We started keeping our main bin right outside our kitchen door to reduce the smell of garbage in the house which works great but the downside has always been when you're preparing the food you've eaten. constantly getting in and out to dispose of accumulated junk, so I wanted to have a countertop bin for those garlic peels, egg shells, and zucchini bits while we cook that can all be thrown out at once to save time and effort. This particular bin works great, the color matches my kitchen appliances and the simple shape and plastic material makes it very easy to rinse after emptying the material. I recommend!
