Bought to replace another soft stretcher my vet lost. It works well, looks good and folds well. It opens from both ends, as well as from the top and side, which is very convenient. While many transport boxes come with a bottom pad, this is the best I've come across as it's a very soft, carpet-like material and the bottom is zippered so you can remove the inner board to give it some stiffness lend when your pet is in it. This also means you can swap out the board if needed and wash the lining without damaging the board. Very well thought out. I am giving one star because the medium is not 18 inches long as advertised. It's just under 17 inches at its longest points. The other two sizes are correctly described as 11 inches for both at their widest point. As the carrier is not as big as I expected, it probably isn't suitable for a large cat or not very small dog. However, it is a very nice and comfortable carrier for a small or medium sized cat or toy dog. If they made a slightly larger version of the same thing I would definitely buy it. highlighted.
