Not as comfortable as we would like

I bought a female frame version for my wife as a possible travel bag. We've been looking for a back to fit her as an OBT option for about 4 years. Stumbled across this bag after several YouTube videos recommended it as a solid option. This is a well made bag. At the advertised 40 liters, I have my suspicions, and the water bottle pockets are practically useless once the bag is full. The main problem is the straps. My wife may be thinner than most, but the feminine-rimmed version just doesn't sit on her shoulders. Forklifts also don't pull the load up and closer; only higher. Not a fan of a non-removable rain cover. I received an appeal but a clip or latch for removal would be helpful. This bag becomes dangerous if you are of the slim and slender crowd. Belt holders only do so much. In addition, the waist belt and shoulder straps do not have a "package" option, so your belts and straps are always open. I wouldn't worry about scratches affecting the durability of the bag. He's pretty organized. My wife liked the way the front pockets were placed. For example, a separate compartment for shoes. The back padding is generous. I wish the shoulder straps were that thick. Maybe it helped. I will return but not because of a defective model. Just not what we were looking for.

Pros
  • We look forward to it
Cons
  • The list will be long.
