Review on πŸ” Moroso 89560 Tire Gauge: Accurate Pressure Measurement, 0-60LB, 2-5/8IN. by Jeffrey Gallagher

I finally trusted the pressure readings in my tires

Ever since I moved to Chicago I've taken an interest in my tires. sudden seasonal changes (temperature, snowfall) convinced me to keep an eye on tire pressure and tread depth. I've been using a cheap pin gauge with the dipstick sticking out at the bottom for years. I never liked the results, mostly because I couldn't replicate them. Even tire pumps with a built-in pressure gauge seem to be pretty unreliable when it comes to providing accurate tire pressure readings. I'm glad I invested in the 89560. It seemed like a lot of money for a gauge, but the product lives on. before waiting. Here are some thoughts: - The end of the nozzle that connects to the tire bar is free to rotate in any direction, making it easy to maneuver the thick tube into a vertical position. - The vent valve is great. I inflate the tires a little and then let the excess air out. The pressure gauge shows the correct value after pressing the bleed valve, so you don't have to reset anything or remove the nozzle. The 0-60 psi rating is the perfect scale for my car tires. My Toyota Sienna is 35psi, my Honda Civic is 30psi and my spare is 60psi. This scale allows me to see the reading in more detail compared to a 0-100psi gauge.- I was able to get consistent readings on each tire even after disconnecting the nozzle over and over again. The nozzle fits snugly onto the stem and little to no air escapes.- While the gauge head is large and easy to read, it feels a bit fragile. I highly recommend purchasing the 89590 Gauge Cap. I've laid the gauge on the ground many times and measured all my tires and I'm sure the front and sides would have been scratched after just a few uses. I would also recommend the Slime COMP06 inflator to inflate tires quickly. Pressure in each tire from the comfort of your own garage. - The image that Revain uses for the product is not entirely accurate. It features a 0-100 psi gauge with a blue collar on the nozzle. The 0-60psi gauge has minor graduations on the dial face and the nozzle collar is black. Finally, I received the product in a large blister pack that didn't come with any specific instructions for use.
