My wife has been using Venus for many years so other razors will have a hard time competing on their quality. BIC Soleil razors with 3 blades cannot be compared. Here is a summary: - The shape and weight of the product are ok. My wife loves how smooth the BIC handle is. Venus razor handles have many rubber grooves that mold over time and are difficult to clean. So that was the main advantage of BIC. We were a bit puzzled why there are 10 full razors in this set. Why not save money and the environment by adding 1-2 handles and just replacing the rest with shaving heads? Venus razors are also sold here. We see no point in pens with a lavender scent. In fact, I didn't even realize it until I reread the product description. The BIC razor head does not rotate or move like Venus razors. This combined with the uncomfortable fixed angle of the BIC head made shaving a bit uncomfortable for my wife. She slapped her knee and several times just below the knee, which Venus doesn't normally do. The blades glide really smoothly over the skin. My wife decided she had smooth legs (minus minor abrasions). My wife wouldn't buy them again (due to the tight angle of the shaving head and the cuts) but it was a pleasure to try.
