I have personally bought several of these mugs. They're sturdy, the handle is big enough for men to use comfortably, the lids fit snugly for spill-proof drinks, and they fit in my car's cup holder because the handle doesn't go that deep. I like different types of mugs. So if your family has a group or several people enjoying hot drinks at the same time, everyone's mugs are a little different. I love big latte style mugs, the best in size (I just like big coffee/tea mugs and I prefer styles that are black or dark in the mugs simply because they don't rub off easily or quickly. BUT... if they stain, spray or just pour in some vinegar and sprinkle in some baking soda until it sizzles and wipe/scrape a little It's also great for stainless steel sinks - just rinse well! Don't waste your hard-earned money on the small cleaning tablets for stainless steel cups and thermos flasks)
