As someone who has struggled with oily and blemish-prone skin for years, I was excited to try out EmerginC's Deglazing Cleanser. The soap-free formula promised to remove impurities without stripping the skin, and I was hopeful that it would help balance out my complexion. Overall, I found the cleanser to be effective at removing makeup and dirt without leaving my skin feeling overly dry. However, I did experience some mild irritation and redness after using it consistently for a few days. I suspect that this may be due to the presence of essential oils in the formula, which can be a bit strong for sensitive skin. One thing I appreciated about this cleanser was the inclusion of salicylic acid, which is a great ingredient for fighting acne and unclogging pores. I did notice a slight improvement in the overall texture of my skin after using this product for a few weeks. However, I was not blown away by the results and did not see a significant reduction in oiliness or breakouts during that time. I also found the texture of the product to be a bit too thick and difficult to rinse off completely, which left a bit of a film on my face. At the end of the day, EmerginC's Deglazing Cleanser is a decent option for those with oily, combination, or blemish-prone skin. It has some great ingredients and does a good job of removing impurities, but may not be the best choice for those with sensitive skin or those looking for dramatic results.
