Review on 🔊 Phono Box RS: High-Performance MM/MC Phono Preamplifier in Stylish Black by Ken Martinez

I actually bought a silver block and it is a very good phono preamp. I have used it with a fully modded KAB Technics 1200 MK 2 with a Denon 301 mk2 and recently a Vpi Classic with a SounsSmith Zephyr MM cartridge via the built in Primaluna Dialogue HP hose. Very happy with both combos. The preamp isn't very bright. It seems to be doing a wonderful job with a very full sound. If you're looking for an increase in high-frequency brilliance this preamp might not be for you, but if you love the warmth of vinyl then this preamp is a bargain. I have used it with several cartridges and it has proven to be extremely flexible. I've compared it to the Moon LP110 and the Cambridge Azur 651 and this phono preamp wins hands down. Another plus: They now offer an external battery for this already very quiet device. Highly recommended
