If you have an El Gato Camlink and it freezes or lags, this is the solution. I've been struggling with my Camlink for the last year and finally got tired of turning my computer off and on, unplugging it, resetting OBS and similar nonsense and I figured there must be a better way. El Gato's support didn't help. I did a little research and came across Pengo. When I got it, I took it out of the box, plugged it into the very setup that Camlink had a lot of trouble with, and it worked right away. I didn't realize how much time I wasted on the Cumlink. It's so nice when everything just works. One piece of advice here is that the audio through Pengo isn't great, so make sure you set your own microphone in the program's settings (OBS, Streamyard, whatever) so you're using direct audio and it'll get you go well. The Pengo's video quality is as good, if not better than Camlink's.
