Worked with my original PS4 controller by plugging into the port on the front of the controller next to the port🎧. Initially, I searched the Internet to see if there was a cable to connect to this port. . Because my original connector at the top of the controller got damaged from constantly playing without charging the internal battery. I found a cheaper way to get the most out of the old controller as the front connector is already damaged (I can still replace that connector if I want to), probably not, for a cheaper route I just wanted to see if It would work if this connector is used to charge the battery. It works like ANYTHING except brute force. . It will work fine (if you have trouble connecting to the connector), turn on the light to straighten it😏👍 it fits perfectly.
