Difficult to rate. I was only going to give it one star because I was very disappointed, but the massager really worked and I have to give it its credit. It has three different programs and three different intensity levels. I tried all three programs, ranging from hand and palm to wrist, on the lowest settings, and it was excruciatingly painful. I tried this daily for a week thinking it was user error and I just needed to find the right hand position, but nothing I tried made it feel good. I would like someone to develop a handheld massager with rollers. It's just airbags that hug your arm. It seemed to me that my arm was bent in an unnatural position and it was very painful. I didn't like the heating element either. I can't control the temperature and I would have to turn off the heating function for a few minutes because I could burn my hand. This device really has more programs/settings than comparable handheld massagers. It doesn't seem cheap. This can be a great product for some users. Maybe it depends on the size of your hand, I don't know. I wear women's gloves in size 7 and unfortunately they didn't fit me. My husband also tried it before I returned it and even he found it painful and was surprised at how I used it.
