Too bad it's not mom's size. It's super soft and cozy. 1 TOG is perfect for any time of the year (as long as you sleep with air conditioning in summer and warm in winter). I chose medium, my child is 26 inches and just switched to medium sleeping bags. This one should get a lot of use as it is long and has plenty of room to grow while still being comfortable. He also has plenty of room for his hips, so don't worry about that. The price is high compared to similar sleeping bags. I would imagine that for this price the cute little mouse design should be embroidered, but it isn't. Basically I like the bag. It is easy to put on and take off and is very soft. It's hot where we live and we leave the AC on at around 75 at night. The child felt very comfortable in it!
