I bought these as hair accessories. I have long hair and a sensitive scalp, which is why most claw clips and similar clips give me pain and headaches. If I want to wear my hair, that's a problem. I have used chopsticks for this purpose in the past and they work well. I have no idea how they work as cutlery and my review is based solely on their function as hair accessories. They are beautiful and do their job. However, they are quite long and that can sometimes be a problem. I am considering purchasing a similar, if not identical, shorter product. They are exactly as advertised and I am happy with my purchase.
