There are no VESA holes on it; You need an adapter to make this VESA compatible. In addition, its sound is rather weak - in the summer, when all the fans are on, I hardly hear it. Both issues are noted, this is excellent value for money. It's light, crisp and surprisingly versatile. Mine came in a very nice box with packing material built in so it's a pretty safe ship. I am planning to get this VESA adapter as I want to mount an arm for it. I'm sure this lightweight monitor will be fine with whatever setup I set it up for.
