I love this pet backpack. It feels like it's made out of quality materials, it's sturdy and I feel comfortable wearing it. The only negative, as others have said, is the lack of dome installation instructions. All you get in the box is a plastic-wrapped backpack with a dome inside. No paperwork. How to install the dome dome. 1) Unzip the zipper on both sides so you can unfold the backpack and grab the outer ring of the grommet. 2) Place the backpack eye up and top to bottom. backpack in front of you. I put my backpack on my knees. 3) Using both hands, grasp, press and twist the outer ring of the grommet to the left if you have small hands like mine. Those with larger hands can grab, push and rotate the outer ring by reaching into the backpack and holding the inner ring. As I did so, the outer ring moved a little and then stopped. I thought I might be turning the wrong way (to the left) but I wasn't. I kept turning and eventually the ring came loose. 4) Once you have removed the ring, set it aside. The plastic mesh eyelet slides out. 5) Lay the backpack on a flat surface. I used the bed I was sitting next to. 6) Put the dome on the peephole. It goes straight to the base. 7) Slide the ring over the dome and down over the base of the eye. Now comes the tricky part... it's very difficult to align the outer ring with the three short strands at the base of the eyelet. The dome moves. , the outer ring doesn't want to sit on the threads and you have to line it up properly for it to work. Keep trying! can you do that 8) Turn the outer ring clockwise and screw it onto the bottom of the eyelet snugly and tightly. You don't want your pet sticking out the top during your travels. That's exactly what I did. Much luck!
