sizing instructions written by 5 year old

I measured myself and followed sizing instructions to order. I ordered them a size smaller than they recommended. They are still so big, I can pull them off and on without unfastening them. I like the pants but I don't have a clue what size to order. Whoever created the sizing instructions apparently just pulled random numbers out and had a good laugh. Would order again, and maybe even a second pair, if I knew what size to order.

These are cute and comfortable my only disappointment is that the white flowers are painted on with some sort of plastic I was actually expecting it to be stitching which is probably a lot to expect for the price.
