This headlight and low beam upgrade is designed to be easy to install. It took me about half an hour to swap out the old headlights on my 2011 Road King classic. There are just a few things to consider. First you need to completely remove the old headlight bracket. Don't waste time reusing old parts. Just install the headlight. I thought about it, but then it's so easy to take out the old bracket. Second, I found that the standard Harley bolts that attached to the old headlight bracket had a too small head and slipped through the holes in the new bracket. So I had to throw some number eight washers at it. Finally, it looks like the trim ring isn't sitting properly. It looked like it would slip off because the little spring didn't really line up with the slot in the new bracket. But really no need to worry, as soon as you screw it back into the mount it all tightens up. Overall, these things are a lot brighter than standard lights. And why anyone would spend like $1,000 to buy Harley-Davidson junk that's probably made in the same Chinese factory, I don't understand. Harley can stay there, wallet cracker. I am sure they will be much better at night.
