The product is not as bad as it seems to others. Construction is mostly solid, especially the base. It has a matte finish and is reinforced with metal to which a metal rod is attached. Confidence is inspirational. See photo. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. My sample only had one of the screws mislabeled, but if you think a little you can figure these things out. Otherwise everything was fine and went up without any problems. The main advantage of this product is the wood base, unlike all other glass based products, wow lol. Due to the weight of the TV, I installed the battery pack between the bottom of the TV and the stand to increase stability and reduce panel flex. (SEE PHOTO) I bought this for my 65 inch Vizio M series TV. Vesa template max. The 400 x 400mm had the same specs as the more expensive (double the size) floor mount I was planning to buy from Walmart that was advertised for a TV up to 65 inches and it met the Vesa spec my tv. So I pulled the trigger and it worked.
