I've only been using this soap for two days and I can tell you that I've noticed a difference from the first time I used it. This material removes excess oil from your skin, leaving a silky smooth layer of moisture. My face REMAINS smooth after using soap and so far my face doesn't get oily again for a long time after using it. I had a problem with face washes drying out my skin and then causing my skin to produce even more oil which made the problem worse. Not this stuff. It simply removes oil and replaces moisture without clogging pores. It's also very nice as a body wash and makes my whole skin smooth, not just my face. I'm hoping to get rid of my shoulder pimples too, but it's too early to tell. My face is clearly benefiting, which is important as nothing has worked before and I've tried A LOT over the years. It can also be used as a shaving soap and ensures a close shave. It foams just enough to show the soap but not too much. I've also used it as a conditioner shampoo and had interesting results. It seems to clean my hair but doesn't remove natural oils like I've noticed with other commercial shampoos I've used. This makes my hair feel noticeably heavy, but I don't really feel like it weighs me down. It also feels more voluminous and doesn't lay down as hard as it did before using the soap. I also use organic virgin coconut oil on my hair as a natural conditioner to keep frizz at bay. This is the first hair care regimen I have used other than commercial products and my hair is NOT frizzy. It looks good. I'm very impressed with how well this works. I think your hair responds great to natural products! The only really negative thing was that after stopping the usual store-bought conditioner, it became a little harder to comb out tangled hair. However, it's not impossible and I think my hair will thank me for not using products that dry it out with sulfates and other similar ingredients. Let's see how it works in the long term, but for now I'm satisfied. For me it's worth paying a little more for a bottle of these than buying shower gel, face gel, shampoo, conditioner and shaving cream separately. It really makes my life easier and relieves some of the stress I didn't know I had from having to keep up with five different products. I'm so glad I found it and so grateful for the people who left informative reviews on Revain before I bought this soap.
