What a life saver! My mom has cancer and I think I bought all the "super soft" and even baby toothbrushes that my local pharmacy offered because her mouth was causing her so much pain. We already had a wonderful mouthwash from the doctor (ask for her - it's a prescription) but just brushing her teeth was an agony for her due to mouth ulcers and sore gums. I bought this toothbrush more as a last resort, no expected it to be different than what drugstores offer, but fingers crossed. It looks a bit strange being round, but my mother immediately said it was a very different experience for her and she wasn't in pain. Another tip: even though she used toothpaste for sensitive teeth, she said it still irritates her gums, so I bought her a children's toothpaste that will help her get through this most difficult time. She hopes to go back to regular toothpaste in the future, but at least she feels like her mouth gets so clean. Be sure to buy a toothbrush if your loved one is undergoing chemotherapy!
