Perfect for Dodge Challenger 1320

I bought this hubcap after reading many reviews and I am glad I did. I recently bought a Dodge Challenger 1320 and wanted to wrap the Alcantara steering wheel that these cars have. The factory cap is great and holds up well, but I knew my sweaty hands would ruin it over time. I was looking for a cover to prevent this. I ordered this suitcase and was a bit concerned that people were reporting that it was dented in the packaging. Well they must have listened to the feedback because I had no wrinkles or creases. It was packaged in a just the right size box with a plastic insert to help it keep its shape. I have attached two photos of how it arrived. The plastic insert is clearly visible. The case arrived in perfect condition. After opening the box, I left the case in the sun for about 15 minutes to warm it up and help with installation. I followed the instructions and everything went very easily. Judging by other reviews I was ready for a fight and a tug of war. I was really hoping not to damage the cover when installing it. I prepared for a long fight and was ready to test my patience. Well, I didn't fight at all. I placed the top of the cap on the wheel and started working down and around the wheel. I just took my time. As I neared the bottom of the bike, I was concerned that the bottom would actually be a challenge to negotiate the last few inches on the bottom. It wasn't a problem at all. I simply lowered the lid and when I got to the last few inches I rolled the edge of the lid closest to the wheel (which I would say was the back of the lid) down. I was able to easily remove the last part of the cover over the wheel. After the cover was on, I just adjusted it a bit to fit me the way I wanted. I believe the key turned the rearmost edge of the cover down and around the wheel while I was driving. Well I know my explanation sounds long but believe it or not I installed this cover in less than 5 minutes. I've read of people who really struggled with it, but that wasn't my experience at all. Perhaps the included plastic insert minimizes the problem now. I don't know, but this install was surprisingly smooth and easy. My steering wheel is now protected from the terrible impact of my sweaty hands. In the last two photos, the cover is mounted on my bike. The boot made my bike a bit bulky at first, but after a few days of riding I don't notice it anymore. I feel good now. I'm impressed with this cover so far and hope it lasts.
