Before this monitor, I was a firm "must be 4k over 27" favorite. The pixels on it are visible if you get too close, but at any reasonable viewing distance the image quality is very good, not pixelated at all. The OSD is controlled by a small "joystick" and is easy to use, not perfect. , but it's a lot simpler than those nightmare 4-button controls that many monitors have. Both states. The monitor has great blacks, not sure where the extra color space is for this monitor but if I had to guess I would say black. And the only place you need color nuances on a monitor is in the dark color areas. Monitor *zero* noticeable flicker. After years of owning large numbers of monitors, those that run cool always outlive those that run hot, usually by several years. Running my hand over the back, I can't find any hot spots even after the monitor has been on for hours in a hot room. The monitor deserves a 5-star rating given its price and performance. Just one thing. rear mount, didn't see that in the monitor's specs anyway and was pleasantly surprised it was there, and the screws that hold the included base work great with the vesa mounts. no need to look for screws! The monitor is light enough that it also works great with my gas arm. Although I had to twist it quite hard to keep it in place, once it's in it works great.
